Mesquite Entry with Fan Transom

A client admired the doors I made for the St. Thomas Church so much, he requested the same style of door but without the copper. These doors are 8 ' high x 36" wide x 2 3/4" thick solid mesquite, the transom with trim makes the entire opening 11'-9" high. The 15" wide bottom rail was cut from a single mesquite plank that was
7' long x 18" wide x 4" thick. The fan blades in the transom are also cut from a single plank. The handmade wrought iron and copper handles are made by Chris Hill.
