West System Epoxy
is the material I use to fill the mesquite. The website has a dealer
directory for each state or you can order from them directly. The black
coloring is UTC, universal tinting color, and is available at most hardware
and paint stores. A small amount of UTC is added to the mixed epoxy
to make it black.
Homestead
Finishing Products has great articles on wood coloring using chemicals
instead of pigmented dyes and they also have a complete selection of
finishing products.
Wood Central
is a site that includes wood related message boards and classified ads.
Wood Web
has information about practically anything in the woodworking industry.
Industrial Strength
